What this build connects.
A shared online game needs every player to agree on the state of the table, without exposing private hands. Open Shed separates the rules engine from its interface and communication layer.
Useful capability.
Clear boundaries.
- Multiplayer tablesTwo to six players, private invitations and a responsive browser experience.
- Server-controlled gameplayRules and turns are decided on the server, rather than trusted to each browser.
- Private player viewsEach player receives the game state they are allowed to see, with reconnect support.

Open Shed is DaBuDa's open-source multiplayer card-game project, with a responsive browser experience and tables for two to six players.
Players join a table, take turns and reconnect when needed. The server controls the rules and sends each player only the game state they should see.
Explore the game and its public rules guide, then inspect the code on GitHub. The original project code is published under the Apache two point zero licence.
Open Shed is an independent project, not an official Mattel product. Play, contribute, or speak to DaBuDa about building your own interactive platform.
Public landing page captured and repository licence checked, 1 October 2026. Screens show the public product, not a private player session.
